Vacuum pump motor and the reasons for the high temperature response analysis of thin(1)

 Dam power generation limited liability company units of 300MW each unit is equipped with 2 sets of mechanical vacuum pumps, of which 1 run, 1 spare. Vacuum pumps for vacuum unit startup, normal operation is not used out of the condenser of the gas condensation. The pump motor is equipped with 160kW, speed 590r/min, rated current 330A, voltage 380V, B-class insulation, when the normal operation current 220 ~ 230A. Every summer, electrical temperature gauge will be forced to install temporary cooling fan, but with little success. Motor is running will cause long-term high-temperature insulation aging and shorten their useful life. Vacuum motor on the reasons for the high temperature is as follows.


   Analysis 1

   (1) electric power, and operating current, and heat.

   (2) low fan speed, air pressure, wind a small amount.

   (3) less the number of fan blades, resulting in a small amount of wind.

   (4) electric motor attached to dust, oil and reduce the cooling capacity.

   (5) where the vacuum pump motor bus voltage for the 380V, as a result of the cable voltage drop and load the uneven distribution of the actual motor voltage is only 365V, low voltage caused by current major operation.
